That’s where you come in. We’re looking for an equally ambitious Operations Manager to help take Mad Egg to the next level.

The Role:

Are you the type of person who wants to support and influence the journey of our company, help us grow from 5 venues and ~120 people to national scale?

This is an opportunity to join the leadership team at Mad Egg as we continue to grow and develop the brand. As an Operations Manager at Mad Egg, you will play a critical role in supporting the employee life cycle and working closely with our restaurant managers on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational success. You will contribute to creating a whopper work environment, delivering a market-leading product and ensuring profitability. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training and off-boarding processes.
  • Assist in sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews and conducting reference checks.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring completion of necessary paperwork, training modules and on-boarding days.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee records, including LTO tracking, employment contracts, performance evaluations and attendance records.
  • Work closely with restaurant managers to ensure compliance on employment law, company policies and health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate team events and initiative to drive a whopper company culture.
  • Work with our back office to manage and process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Supporting management teams with their BAU, facilities management and compliance.

The person that will excel in this role will…

  • Have experience as General Manager or prior experience in a similar operational role is an advantage.
  • Be goal focused, organised and have excellent time management skills.
  • Be detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Show strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
  • Tech- savviness and proficiency in utilising technology to solve business challenges would be a valued trait.
