    Orla Browne

    From Front of House Team Member To Duty Manager

    I joined Mad Egg in 2020 after moving up to Dublin; and although my family are still back home I’ve made a second family in this company. I began as front of house in Dundrum before moving to Millennium and got promoted to trainer. There’s always new opportunities to grow and learn new skills.

    Favourite thing about working at Mad Egg?
    It’s hard to narrow it down to just one thing. Flexibility is really important, and in Mad Egg it’s a very mutual thing; if you offer flexibility you really get it in return. Mostly though, the culture is the best part. Not everybody can say that they genuinely look forward to coming to work, but everyone here is so supportive and encouraging that it’s hard to not have a great shift.

    Favourite Sando?
    I’m vegetarian, so it would have to be the Side Chick with a portion of tator tots – and my secret recipe, a cheesecake with Honey Butter!

    From Kitchen Assistant To Assistant General Manager

    Mad Egg was my first job and my first professional experience within hospitality. This opportunity provided me with great development and learning. I have been in a constant evolution starting off as a kitchen assistant and today I’m an assistant general manager. Over the past three years, I had many challenges and the opportunity to work in all Mad Egg units which allowed me to extract the best from each place and continue to grow and develop. 

    Favourite thing about working at Mad Egg?
    The support, freedom and reliability they give us, where we can express our ideas and have the autonomy to make improvements.  The growth opportunities they provide to employees and the belief of always maintaining the highest quality in their products. Also, offering an incredible experience to their customers.

    Favourite Sando?

    My favourite without a doubt is The Goat, the combination of garlic mayo, parmesan and bacon are fantastic.

    From Assistant General Manager to Talent & Operations Support Manager

    Since joining Mad Egg 2 years ago as an Assistant General Manager, I have always been given opportunities to better myself in my career. From opening our first Cloud Kitchen & CPU to then supporting as a General Manager and finally joining the HQ team which was my end goal when I joined Mad Egg. 

    Favourite thing about working at Mad Egg?
    Love seeing the teams grow in up skilling. My HQ colleagues have shown their full support as well as the directors of the company showing strong interest in my future career.
