HOW IT WORKS?

After an initial screening conversation, there are 3 steps to Going Live with your very own Mad Egg!

STEP 1

Find the unit

Once you are set that franchising with Mad Egg is for you. The first step is to find a suitable trading unit.



Once you have this, then fill in the form below to arrange a meeting with our franchising team to discuss the opportunity.

STEP 2

Fit the details

Our franchising team will walk through the operational and financial details of the opportunity to ensure it is viable. 



We will also complete interviews and assessments at this stage to ensure that the partnership is the right fit!

STEP 3

Game time

Once we have a location nailed on and we have completed the relevant assessment, interviews and financing arrangements.

We can then move onto opening your very own Mad Egg!

This comes with ongoing training and support to ensure that the venture is as successful as possible.

POTENTIAL FORMATS

Mad Egg operates in High Street, Off-Street and Prime Shopping Centre formats. There are two options for setting up - Shell & Core or Pre-existing Restaurant Conversion.

Pre-existing Restaurant Conversion

Turning an existing restaurant or a premises that previously traded as a restaurant into a Mad Egg typically comes in at a capex cost of €150,000 – €300,000.

This is assuming the infrastructure is in place, i.e. services, kitchen, infrastructure.



This model can run cheaper than the above but it gives you less flexibility on layout and design.

shell-and-core-

Shell & Core

Building a new Mad Egg restaurant from a ‘Shell & Core’ format typically comes in at a capex cost of €400,000 – €600,000. 



This format is usually a recently built unit with no services or infrastructure and requires some form of planning permission. 



This is the more expensive option but gives you more flexibility in layout and design for your restaurant.
